Our Commitment
We at The Flight Department believe that safety is paramount. It’s the starting point of every flight we schedule.
Our stringent screening process keeps us to a relatively small pool of operators who have proven their experience and abilities. It is fair to say that the operators we use at The Flight Department are not the most inexpensive operators. They are, however, the most qualified.
At The Flight Department, we view pilots and physicians in a similar vein. Both professions are qualified or certified by the government to a minimum level of proficiency; both are directly responsible for the lives of their customers. While customers of private aviation are very discerning when it comes to choosing a doctor, they frequently choose their pilot and aircraft operator based on the lowest available price.
As your Flight Department, we will be your discerning eye when it comes to crewmembers, equipment and operators, ensuring that the people you’re entrusting with your lives meet the highest safety standards.
We only use approximately 15 charter companies in the United States and another 15 worldwide. The narrowed focus of our fleet often leaves affords us the most qualified airplane and not necessarily the most inexpensive airplane.

The Flight Department USA Inc. does not own or maintain aircraft. We are not a direct or indirect air carrier. All flights, either chartered or jet card programs, are offered by third-party Part 135 licensed air carriers. Consulting for and the scheduling of wholly owned or fractional aircraft are regulated by either Part 135, Part 91K or Part 91. The Flight Department USA Inc. acts in these cases as an outsourced scheduler only. All flights are approved by and flown as a direct result of the approval of the owner or owner's designee. The Flight Department USA Inc. does not in any way have operational authority over any aircraft listed herein.
